Join Wild Deer for our bi-annual charity dinner and auction. Each year approximately 150 children are diagnosed with cancer in Victoria alone. Funds channelled into research by PCR help to improve the lives of these children by working towards new treatment options and ultimately a cure. 4. A two day ‘Sambar Hunter’s Edge’ Sambar stalking course with Peter Burke held at Licola North in Victoria. Sambar Hunter’s Edge provides a course specifically designed and tailored to help new and aspiring sambar deer stalkers realise the dream of becoming a successful sambar hunter. One course to be held each month June through to September. A 2016 position is subject to course availability and may be transferred to 2017 if required or requested.

The winning bidder will need to bring personal hunting equip – headlamp, binos, day pack, camera etc. A fairly good level of fitness is required to partake in this hunt although nothing ‘over the top’ is expected.
The hunt would need to be taken on one of the last 2 weeks of February 2017 – the stags will be in hard velvet then.
You are bidding on a 1×1 hunt but if the winner wants to bring a friend to make it a 2x1hunt the trip can be lengthened to 7 full hunt days. The additional cost for the extra person has generously been reduced to only $1,500.
